Do It With a Doula: start 29 March 2026
A 12 week birth preparation course for expectant parents, with Joanna & Nia
Most birth courses give information.
We focus on integration.
Do It With a Doula is a 12-session, English-speaking birth preparation course in ’t Gooi, led by two experienced doulas who have supported many real births.
With only six couples, it stays personal and responsive.
Each week we weave together evidence-based knowledge, movement, partner preparation and mindset work — helping learning land in the body as well as the mind.
If you’re looking for preparation that feels grounded rather than overwhelming, this might be exactly what you’ve been searching for.
We begin 29.03 in Bussum, and Early Bird registration is open until 8 March.

MamasConnect: 1 April 2026
10:00 - 12:00, Café Restaurant Heidezicht, Bussum
Celebrating spring, we’re gathering again at beautiful Heidezicht in Bussum for a relaxed and welcoming morning for mothers.
MamasConnect is a community meet-up designed especially for pregnant women and mothers with babies and young children who are looking for connection, fresh air, and meaningful conversation. This is a space where you can show up exactly as you are — with your bump, your baby, your toddler, or simply yourself.
Little ones can safely run and play while we enjoy coffee, nature, and honest chats with mamas who truly understand this season of life.
Whether you’re new to the area, recently became a mother, expecting your first baby, or simply looking to expand your village — you are warmly welcome.
RSVP required – €5 contribution secures your spot and includes a coffee or warm drink.
Any additional drinks or food can be settled individually at the end.

MamasThrive: 17 April 2026
Rest & Connection: the holistic approach to sleep
With Julia from Tales of Sleep
10:00 - 12:00, Location TBD
Let’s explore a holistic, attachment-focused approach to sleep. In this informal session you can ask questions and leave with a clearer understanding of your child’s sleep and reassurance that there are ways to support rest without compromising on connection.
We’ll talk about how to get sleep off to a good start in the newborn months, how to minimise sleep disruptions during big developmental changes and how you can make your toddler’s bedtime smoother. We’ll also gently untangle some of the common myths that often leave parents feeling anxious or unsure.
You’re welcome exactly as you are: tired, curious, hopeful, or all three.
€15 Contribution (tea & coffee, snacks and a babysitter are included)
Children are very welcome.
10 spots available! RSVP required!
Walks&Talks
Hilversum & Bussum
Our spontaneous Walks & Talks continue via our WhatsApp group. As our Village grows, we’d like to begin gently dividing some walks:
• Walks for mamas with children
• Walks for expecting mothers
Of course, you are always welcome wherever you feel comfortable — with your bump or with your little ones. We simply noticed that especially first-time pregnant mothers may appreciate connecting more intentionally with others in the same season of life.
The Village adapts because you shape it.
